Strong Relationships Shaping the Future of Investment

The Saudi Egyptian Investment Company (SEIC) is a Saudi investment entity established through an initiative of the Public Investment Fund. It aims to strengthen economic cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt by investing in strategic sectors—including infrastructure, real estate development, healthcare, and industry—to support high-potential opportunities in the Egyptian market.

Hawyia’s role centered on creating a name and visual identity that present the company as a cross-border investment entity, grounded in the enduring relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt and expressing a shared ambition within a long-term investment framework.

The work began by establishing a brand with strategic depth—one capable of engaging diverse audiences with confidence, while maintaining a sophisticated visual language and avoiding literal representation or conventional symbolism.

Scope of Work

  • • Studied the investment landscape and analyzed existing perceptions through in-depth research into the company’s direction and investment mandate. This included assessing target audiences’ perceptions of Saudi investments in the Egyptian market and reviewing comparable investment entities locally and internationally.
  • • Designed a visual identity that expresses the relationship between the two countries through carefully considered symbols: palm fronds representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the golden falcon representing the Arab Republic of Egypt. The balanced visual treatment conveys strength, confidence, and continuity.
  • • Created the name SEIC and developed its strategic meaning as an abbreviation of the official name, making it easier to use and strengthening its presence. The name also carries an indirect phonetic association with the word “Seek,” expressing ambition, pursuit, and a forward-looking investment vision.
  • • Developed the brand’s strategic framework, including its essence, core messages, positioning, and target audiences, to ensure a clear identity aligned with the company’s long-term investment direction.
